Pierre Starr reminiscences, 1862-1865.

Handwritten reminiscences of Pierre Starr, who served in the Medical Department of the Army. He was first in Cincinnati, then with the 39th Ohio Volunteers, 1862-1865. Starr was a native of New London, Connecticut. He practiced medicine in Hartford, Connecticut, from 1871 to 1910, and wrote this narrative in 1912. A photograph of Starr is included in the volume.
